m = w x l x h x╧Б ( Density of Mild Steel = 7850 kg/m3 )
( Height = Thickness )
m = 0.1 x 0.2 x 0.02 x7850
m = 3.14 kg
EXCEL SHEET for Calculate MASS of M.S Plate
Hi welcome in this POST we are going to understand how to calculate MASS of mild steel plate, so here we will consider ms plate having thickness 20mm and length is 200 mm and width is 100 mm so here for this we need here a formula MASS is equal toVolume ×Density. Volume is equal to area into Height okay.
This is the formula for calculating the MASS of any material okay, so here see for ms plate here density of mild steel we need, so here density of mild steel is seven eight five zero kg per meter cube okay. so now here we will put the values in our masst formula okay , so we need the all the our terms in meter so here thickness is equal to 0.02 meter and here length is 0.2 meter and here width is 0.1 meter okay.
Now here see in our formula area is length into width, so here 0.2 into 0.1 into we have thickness here 20 mm that is point 0.02 into density is here this one that is 7 8 5 0 kg per meter cube is the density of mild steel okay,
So now here Mass (m) is equal to after calculating we will get here answer 3.14 kg is the mass of this ms plate having thickness this length and width as given here.
So students in this video we have understood how to calculate the mass of a mild steel plate, thank you students for watching this video like share and comment for this video and subscribe my channel thank you.
is a quantity representing the force exerted on a particle or object by an acceleration field. (particularly the gravitational field of the Earth at the surface)
TYPE OF TEMPERATURE SCALES and Celsius to Fahrenheit
( роЪெро▓்роЪிропро╕் toрокாро░рой்ро╣ீроЯ்)
There are Threetemperature scalesin use today,
1. Fahrenheit,
2. Celsius,
3. Kelvin.
The Fahrenheit Scale :-
TheFahrenheittemperature scale is based on 32 °F for the freezing point of water and 212 °F for the boiling point of water, with the interval between the two being divided into 180 parts.
The formula for converting a Celsius to Fahrenheit is:F=9/5C+32.
The Celsius Scale:-
TheCelsiustemperature scale is based on 0 °C for the freezing point and 100 °C for the boiling point of water, with the interval between the two being divided into 100 parts.
The formula for converting a Fahrenheit to Celsius is:C= (F–32) 5/9.
The Kelvin Scale:-
The solid, liquid, and gaseous phases of water can exist in equilibrium at 273.16 °C (the triple point temperature).
Thekelvinis defined as1 / 273.16of the triple point temperature.
This makes one kelvin the same size as one Celsius degree.
On the Kelvin scale, 0 K representsabsolute zero, the temperature at which the molecules of a substance have their lowest possible energy.
The formula for converting a Celsius to Kelvin is:K = C+273.
HISTORY OF THE Fahrenheit SCALE
It was developed by Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit In 1714, a German-born scientist who lived and worked primarily in the Netherlands.
Only a fewcountries useFahrenheit as their official scale: the United States, Belize, Palau, and the British Territories of the Bahamas and the Cayman Islands.
HISTORY OF THE CELSIUS SCALE
The scale now known as the Celsius scale was first proposed in the 18th century.In 1742, (Swedish scientist Anders Celsius) . All other countries use Celsius to measure temperature.
HISTORY OF THE KELVIN SCALE
In 1848,Kelvinused this as a basis for an absolute temperature scale. He defined "absolute" as the temperature at which molecules would stop moving, or "infinite cold." From absolute zero.
The Kelvin temperature scale was the brainchild of Belfast-born British inventor and scientist William Thomson — also known as Lord Kelvin.
Many physical laws and formulas can be expressed more simply by using the Kelvin scale.
Accordingly, the Kelvin scale has become the international standard for scientific temperature measurement.
Celsius to Fahrenheit
F = 9/5C+32
C = 30 ̊
F = 9/5 x 30 + 32
F = 54 + 32
Ans F = 86 ̊
